Physical Science is the study of matter and energy. In this course, students will experience the scientific method as a dynamic process and apply its six steps while exploring the fields of chemistry and physics. Each student will plan and conduct a scientific investigation to test her own hypothesis. This course provides students with opportunities for constructing graphs from experimental data, reproducing historical models of the atom, balancing chemical equations, and identifying the forces at work on objects in our world.
