Sixth Grade Religion
The curriculum for sixth grade religion is the study of the Old Testament. Over the next ten months, we will travel to some fascinating places and meet some interesting characters. Through our study, we will discover that people in the the Old Testament were a lot like us. They worried about fitting in and belonging and dealt with lonliness, jealousy and heartache. The experienced love, joy and laughter while growing in their relationship with God.
Seventh Grade English
Course Syllabus: English & Literature 7 Syllabus
This course is designed to improve the student’s use of both written and spoken English and to broaden and enhance reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. Students will write and speak with a command of Standard English conventions appropriate to grade level. Students will identify and analyze recurring themes across literary works and will read, understand, and respond to historically or culturally significant works of literature that reflect and enhance their studies of history and social science.
